A Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (STA) is an instrument capable of performing thermogravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) measurements simultaneously. TG measures changes in the mass of a sample during heating or cooling, allowing analysis of reactions such as decomposition, oxidation, dehydration, and volatilization.
